Why do companies leave a ready-made theme?
Most companies come to us with a redesign, or after an earlier attempt that did not work out. The site still runs, but it no longer fits the business. Usually, it is one of these cases:
- A premium theme pushed to its limits. Every new change takes heavy code, and the site gets slower.
- A page builder such as Elementor, Divi or WPBakery. The pages are heavy, the editor is confusing, and the team cannot change a page on its own.
- A freelancer who did not finish. The project stopped halfway, or the freelancer disappeared.
- Another agency or developer. The project dragged on, cost more than planned and still was not what the client wanted.
After an experience like that, a redesign can feel daunting, and it is hard to put your requirements into words for a developer. So we start with questions about what the site has to do and who will run it.
Some clients arrive having already compared a premium theme with a bespoke WordPress theme and made their choice. Others make it with us.
