Dedicated Development Team

Build a dedicated development team that works as an extension of your in-house product team, focused on long-term delivery, technical quality and predictable progress instead of short-term fixes.

Why hire a dedicated development team

A dedicated development team is a long-term group of engineers that works as your remote product team, aligned to your roadmap, stack and internal processes. Instead of one-off projects, you get a stable team that understands your domain, ships features in predictable iterations and improves the codebase over time.

For founders and CEOs this means fewer vendor switches, less time spent re-explaining requirements and more confidence that technical decisions support business goals. Our dedicated team services provide the senior talent, structured delivery and clear communication cadence so your in-house team can focus on strategy and growth.

What you gain from a dedicated team

Stabilize delivery, reduce management overhead and keep a consistent team improving your product month after month.

Stable team, not rotating staff

Work with the same core engineers over time, so context is preserved, onboarding repeats less and velocity improves instead of resetting with every new vendor or freelancer change.

Senior engineers, pre-vetted

Skip the trial-and-error of hiring freelancers. Your team is formed from senior engineers with the right stack skills, clear communication and a focus on long-term collaboration.

Transparent, predictable costs

Plan budgets with confidence through a clear monthly rate for your team, time tracking on every task and regular reporting, so you see where effort goes and how it supports your roadmap.

Embedded into your workflows

The team joins your tools and rituals. We work in your issue tracker, attend standups and sync with product owners, so collaboration feels like one company, not two separate sides of a contract.

Quality-first engineering culture

We prioritize clean code, tests and peer review, so your dedicated team reduces technical debt instead of adding to it. New features become safer to release and production issues quicker to diagnose.

Start small, scale with demand

Begin with a lean core team focused on your key product goals, then scale capacity as traction grows. We help you add or rotate specialists without losing knowledge or slowing delivery.

A long-term engineering partner

Since 2013 F5 Studio has been building and supporting products for companies that need more than short-term contractors. Our team of 20+ specialists works as a remote extension of in-house product and engineering teams, used to joining an existing roadmap and stack rather than starting from a blank brief.

When we assemble a dedicated development team for you, it is backed by the processes, technical leadership and documentation habits we use across the agency, so knowledge is retained and your product is not dependent on a single developer.

Evidence you can rely on

Founded in 2013 in Ukraine, F5 Studio has grown into a 20+ person team with 300+ delivered projects. The company is backed by public reviews on Clutch and Google, and the founder’s verified Upwork profile gives clients another public reference point, with 230+ tracked jobs and 3,900+ tracked hours covering communication, delivery and long-term support.

How we build your dedicated team

01.

Discovery & scope

We start with a structured discovery of your business goals, product roadmap and reasons to build a long-term remote team instead of growing only in-house. Together we clarify priorities, risks, budget constraints and desired timelines, then define what success should look like for both your company and the team.

02.

Team design

Based on the agreed goals we design the structure of your team: required roles, seniority levels, tech stack and time allocation. We select specific engineers from our pool, share profiles with you and refine the line-up together so you know exactly who is joining, what they will own and how they fit alongside your internal people.

03.

Onboarding & setup

We run a focused onboarding where the team joins your tools, repositories and communication channels, reviews existing documentation and code, and agrees on working agreements. Together we define sprint length, planning and demo cadence, code review rules and incident paths so collaboration feels like one team from the first week.

04.

Delivery cycles

Work then runs in predictable delivery cycles. The team plans work with your product owners, estimates tasks, implements features, fixes bugs and delivers in agreed iterations. You see progress through demos, sprint reviews and transparent time logs, and can adjust priorities without losing momentum or burning out internal staff.

05.

Review and scaling

We schedule regular retrospectives and account reviews to keep the collaboration healthy. Together we look at throughput, quality, incident patterns and roadmap changes, then adjust roles, seniority or capacity as your product evolves. This way your dedicated team stays aligned with strategy instead of drifting into a support-only role.

When a dedicated team fits

A dedicated software development team works best when your product roadmap is long and you expect continuous change, not a single launch. It suits companies that need more engineering capacity, want to expand into new stacks or prefer flexible resourcing instead of growing permanent headcount.

Dedicated team vs. hiring

Hiring in-house gives you control but is slow and expensive when you need to move quickly or are unsure which roles to add. Project outsourcing can start fast but often loses knowledge once delivery is handed over. A dedicated team sits between these options: engineers stay with your product, follow your processes and keep domain knowledge while you adjust team size as the roadmap evolves.

Dedicated development team FAQ

What is a dedicated team and how does it work?

A dedicated team is a long-term group of engineers, hired through our agency, that works on your product only and follows your internal processes. Instead of signing many short freelance contracts, you get a stable, cross-functional team that grows with your roadmap while we handle recruiting, HR, payroll and day-to-day administration.

How is a dedicated team different from classic outsourcing?

In classic project outsourcing you define a fixed scope, the vendor delivers it and then the team disbands. A dedicated team stays with you for much longer, works from one backlog with your in-house people and continues to improve the same codebase. You control priorities and product decisions, while we ensure that the team remains staffed, supported and productive.

How quickly can we launch the team?

Timeline depends on the roles and seniority you need, but in most cases we can propose an initial line-up within a few working days. After you review and confirm the team, onboarding usually takes one or two sprints as we connect tools, repositories and processes. We prefer to launch lean, prove value and then extend the team rather than over-staffing from day one.

How do you ensure code quality and communication standards?

We rely on a mix of practices rather than a single tool. The team follows agreed coding guidelines, uses code review on every merge and sets up automated checks where it makes sense. Regular demos, planning and retrospectives keep everyone aligned. As the engagement grows we can introduce additional QA, monitoring and documentation practices that match your risk level and budget.

Can we change team size or skills as our product evolves?

Yes. One of the main advantages of a dedicated team model is controlled flexibility. We review capacity and skills with you on a regular basis and can add, replace or rotate specialists when priorities change. Changes are planned so that knowledge is handed over properly and your roadmap does not stall because a key person left or a new role was added.

How do you handle IP protection, security and time zones?

We treat your intellectual property and data as confidential. The team works under our agency contracts and NDAs, and access to code, environments and third-party services is granted on a least-privilege basis. We agree on working hours that create enough overlap with your core team and use clear escalation paths so important questions are never blocked by time-zone gaps.
