Background and expertise
Roman Berezhnoi is the founder and CEO of F5 Studio. His path into web development started with business: from 2008 to 2013 he founded and ran a large consumer-electronics online store, where he learned firsthand how websites, SEO, and marketing actually drive a business – and how to manage a team.
F5 Studio grew out of that company’s in-house IT department. What began as a small group – a developer, a designer, a copywriter, and an SEO/marketing specialist – split off in 2013 into an independent agency. As the client base grew, so did the team, now 20+ specialists.
Roman leads F5 Studio end to end – from sales and hiring to project delivery and quality control – while staying hands-on with the technical and design side of the work. His expertise spans more than one discipline: architecting custom WordPress themes and ACF-based systems, running in-depth UX analysis, designing interfaces and full design systems, and applying SEO that’s built into a site rather than bolted on. He also authored F5 Studio’s internal documentation and code guides – the system that carries the agency’s standards into every project.
More recently, as AI has matured into a practical tool, Roman has focused on where it genuinely improves delivery rather than where it’s merely fashionable. He actively studies its capabilities and builds automation into F5 Studio’s workflow – from content production to development support – so the team spends less time on repetitive work and more on the decisions that need human judgment.
That consistency shows in the numbers. On Upwork, Roman holds Top Rated status and a 100% Job Success Score across 225+ completed projects and nearly 4,000 tracked hours – most of it built on long-term relationships, with clients who have stayed for three, five years and more.
